SUMMERTIDE FESTIVAL 2017 will feature the best of the best from the Hudson Valley to the Berkshires and beyond. Event attendees can choose from three different ticketed events over the course of the weekend, or buy a weekend pass that includes all three days! All tickets are for entry and entertainment only. Food and beverages are additional but there will be tasting opportunities from an array of local wineries, breweries, distilleries, and restaurants.
Beverages will be in abundance at SUMMERTIDE FESTIVAL 2017. There will be cash bars serving wines by the glass from selected wineries including Cascade Mountain, Hudson Chatham Winery, and Warwick Valley Winery & Distillery, along with beer from Chatham Brewing.
The weekend kicks off on Friday, July 7th at 6 pm with a grand farm-to-table BBQ featuring Smithfield’s own Full Circle Farm, and wood-fired pizza from Executive Chef Maria Laura Quintero of MuchaChula Catering and Chef Donna Hanusik. A dessert station will feature various strawberry delights along with Hudson Valley apple crisp topped with Cascade Mountain Winery’s own Heavenly Daze dessert wine.
Widely acclaimed singer, songwriter, and musician, E’lissa Jones, will kick off Friday night’s entertainment followed by the legendary Advanced Phunk, featuring Steve Ide, Bobby Mcveety, Ram Miles, and the Berkshires’ favorite horn section. Fireworks, in celebration of Cascade Mountain’s 40th anniversary, by Legion Fireworks will begin at 9:30 pm. 100 early bird tickets are available for $75. Once they're gone - tickets will cost $90.
In addition, there will be a 40 x 60 ft. event tent filled with regional wineries, distilleries, breweries, and creameries, including Cascade Mountain, Hillrock, Hudson Chatham Winery, Chaseholm, Old Chatam, Sprout Creek, and Jacuterie.
Saturday, July 8th from 3–10 pm will feature a star-studded lineup of artists featuring: Jonathan Edwards, Kerri Powers, Cole Quest and The City Pickers, and The Peter Muller Band. Cole Quest, Woody Guthrie’s grandson, will lead everyone in a tribute during the show. To complete the celebration there will be a Woody Guthrie exhibit in the winery for the entire month of July. 100 early bird tickets are available for $75.
Saturday's farm-to-table fare will be prepared by Cascade Mountain Winery’s newly appointed Executive Chef, Maria Laura Quintero, owner of MuchaChula, Amenia’s outstanding boutique catering company along with Donna Hanusik, a Chef at Cascade Mountain's Restaurant. In addition, lobster will be served by Lobster Craft (tickets must be purchased online, in advance) along with BBQ, wood-fired pizza, and grilled vegetables. End the night with some Hudson Valley apple crisp topped with Cascade Mountain’s Heavenly Daze reduction.
On Sunday, July 9th from 12–5 pm the SUMMERTIDE FESTIVAL 2017 builds toward a crescendo. Enjoy some of Hudson Valley’s favorite wineries, distilleries, breweries, and creameries while listening to The Ram Miles Trio who will take the stage at 12:30 pm. At 2:30 pm, we are thrilled to announce that Jesse Colin Young, “The Voice of a Generation”, who recorded the ultimate rendition of Get Together, will take the festival home. From the Summer of Love in San Francisco circa 1967 to Summertide 2017 on a ridge top in Amenia, NY, Jessie’s journey continues, and we all get to be part of it. BBQ, wood-fired pizzas, and tasty desserts will again be available, as well as lots of delicious wine and beer. 100 early bird tickets are available for $75.
Children are welcome. There is free admission for children under 12 years old. Tickets for children over 12 are $35 ($25 early bird).
